Meet Our Team
Dr. Rie Aihara-Medical Director
Dr. Aihara is a surgeon who brings nearly 30 years of experience to this practice. She received her medical degree from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, and underwent General Surgical Residency at Tufts University/New England Medical Center. Subsequently, she pursued a Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship at Boston University and remained on faculty as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Director of Surgical Education for the medical school. She was a key provider in both Trauma and Breast Surgery at the Boston City Hospital, now known as Boston Medical Center. Dr. Aihara has been in the Fort Myers community for over 20 years, providing her expertise in the above fields, and has been a recipient of Top Doctor for the past several years.
Through her experience of caring for patients with various illnesses and injuries, Dr. Aihara has come to an awareness that each one of us has an innate healing mechanism that is greatly influenced by our
mindset and our spiritual self. While medical treatments for the body are invaluable in times of need, how we think, and feel can clearly influence their effectiveness. There is no mechanism for the mind and body to express their condition, and as a result, they often become manifested in our physical self. Therefore, our physical wellbeing may perhaps be seen as a barometer of our overall wellness. De-stressing to calm our minds and bringing stability to our soul by changing our lifestyle will be reflected in our physical health. The reverse is also true, in that providing the body with the appropriate nutrients and supplements to create a healthy environment will help maintain the vehicle for wellness. At Revitalize, Dr. Aihara hopes to create a positive cycle through our treatments to achieve this harmony. She is excited to incorporate gut health, IV therapy and weight management, as well as consulting with our patients to discuss their path to their individual wellness.
Dr. Robert Scappa D.O.
Dr. Skappa is both a urologist and emergency medicine physician, with over 40 years of experience. Graduated from the Philadelphia College of osteopathic medicine, emphasizing a holistic or (whole body) approach to medicine. He completed his urology residency at the Cherry Hill Medical Center (now part of the University of medicine and dentistry of New Jersey). He has been practicing in Fort Myers for the past 27 years.
Dr. Scappa has a special interest in sexual health, including Testosterone Replacement Therapy as well as the Priapus Shot (P-Shot) using platelet rich plasma. He also has many years of experience in general urology as well as urologic oncology.
Personally, Dr. Scappa has been an exercise enthusiast during his entire adult life, with a program that has included long distance running, bicycling and weightlifting. A healthy lifestyle, with emphasis on proper nutrition and exercise, has always been a personal priority for him. He enjoys sharing his passion for good nutrition and regular exercise with his patients.
Dr. Meir Daller
Dr. Meir Daller is the founder of Gulfstream Urology/ Revitalize. Dr. Daller received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and remained there for his Urology residency. He has been offering his expertise in the realm of Urology and Sexual Wellness to this community for over 20 years, being the first to introduce and teach cutting edge procedures such as the P-Shot, as well as incorporating devices such as the BTL Emsella. Currently, Dr. Daller is on sabbatical to follow his passion of researching new approaches to keep his patients healthy and happy.
