BTL Emsella
The BTLEmsella is a device that is FDA approved for both men and women in the treatment of stress and urge incontinence. This treatment has also been found to have benefits in the realm of sexual function and sensation. The device consists of a noninvasive treatment intended to provide electromagnetic stimulation to the pelvic floor for the purpose of rehabilitating weak pelvic muscles and restoring neuromuscular control. The machine initiates more than 11,000 Kegel exercises in a 28 minute treatment. The recommended number of treatments is a series of 6 sessions. Each BTL Emsella treatment is approximately 30 minutes per session, separated by at least 2 days. Completing a full treatment series is necessary to maximize and optimize your treatment efficacy. You may be recommended additional treatments depending on the severity of your condition. The results will typically continue to improve over the next few weeks. Current data shows that 95% of patients report an improved quality of life and 75% reduction in pad use, but results may vary and cannot be guaranteed.
